Congratulations MGR. WF killer studs and pendant always make for an excellent year!
Thanks sweetie - you had a very good year as well!! Love watching your diamond love grow and grow!
Nothing except for one pair of lab/MMD cluster earrings from Ouros and paid off custom gem projects with Jeff W that I commissioned in 2020.
I had a package with gems I intended to set this year that was stuck in the postal systems for nearly 7 months, hence the quiet year.

A stunning classic collection.
I didn't buy bling this year (not anything significant) but I am in the process of passing my jewelry down to my loved ones.
Pieces I don't wear that I think they will enjoy wearing.
To that end I am starting my sister's bling collection as all she really has is her Tiffany diamond ER, band and a few pairs of modest earrings.
We just gave her my most blingy diamond hoops. Sassy and sweet. And happily she loves them!
I told her if I give her anything she won't wear and love to let me know as I have plenty of selection to choose from and want her to love what we give her.
The pandemic has touched everything. So sorry for that your gems were out of reach for 7 months. Hope that you can get the ball rolling with more projects in 2022.
I thought it would be fun to review our damage for the year.
Lovely collection! You officially have more steel (?) Rolexes than the last AD I visited over TG!
The big question is what is behind the heart that you changed your mind about sharing with us...
I didn't buy anything at all this year...I don't wear what I currently own...I think my love of sparkly things is waning...didn't think that would ever happen...sigh
A little embarrassed because this isn’t even all of it I bought some smaller items over the year, mostly silver. These are the big ones though:
Ring finger: Distinctive Gem lab diamond solitaire.
Middle finger: Garrard diamond solitaire, Zina Micro pave diamond eternity, single cut diamond eternity, Champagne OEC diamond wedding set.
Pointer finger: David Klass old mine cut diamond ring with engraved halo.
What a great idea for a thread LLJsmom! Can't wait to join in.
Here we go! I am including the rose gold watch that was from December 2020 because it set the stage for a rose gold Juste un Clou ring and a rose gold sweet Alhambra bracelet to make a rose gold "set."
Also from just a few weeks ago a new marquise ring (which I have to bring back ot get it looked at because it's rattling) and a matching band.
Looking forward to 2022!
P.S. LLJsmom.. you should definitely include your 3 stone ring in this year's haul.
Such lovely cohesive pieces that just are a wonderful match to your ering. I still love Paloma Picasso even after all these years. What are you thinking about for 2022?What a great thread, @LLJsmom! Love seeing others' pieces from the year.
This year I did a small overhaul of my small collection. I sold several white metal pieces and bought rose gold pieces (Cartier two-tone watch, Tiffany infinity bangle, long Paloma Picasso pendant).
I'm already thinking about 2022...
I didn’t buy anything new except for a pair of polki earrings, but I did get a move on with some projects that have been on hold: converting a pendant into a ring, turning an unset 1.25ish ct stone into a pendant, and designed my e-ring (which unfortunately still isn’t ready yet, but hopefully will be soon, might slip into 2022)!
