This is such a fun thread, I’ve been browsing through it the past couple of days.

2021 was the year I finally got my dream Tiffany & Co solitaire ring as an upgrade on my 8th wedding anniversary. I spent years thinking about it and was thrilled to finally have it on my finger!

I also acquired a pair of 22karat gold bangles which are decorated with enamel all around the top. I absolutely love these for daily wear because they are easy to wear and colourful!

My regular sets of 22karat gold bangles are heavy and not practical at all for daily wear (I only ever wear them on an occasion) but these are perfect and light and not too showy.

I will for you! I also got the sweet heart carnelian bracelet in rose gold as well. I’ll put them both on and take a photo. I’ve just found with Covid I don’t really wear much anymore.

This year I didn't buy any jewelry for myself but I received a lot of wonderful and meaningful gifts from people that I love!
The first gift of the year was a ruby and diamond ring! It was a gift from my father, which was given to me during the difficult time that I was fighting breast cancer and it has a great significance to me.
A few weeks later, dad also gave me a wonderful ruby and diamond bracelet, which was a totally unexpected piece!!!
I'm attaching photos of the two pieces worn together!

During the summer vacation I received an 18kt yellow gold bracelet as a gift from my brother in law:

A few weeks ago my mom gave me as an early birthday gift her precious emerald and diamond set of ring and matching earrings that my dad had gifted her for their 30th wedding anniversary!

Then my birthday came and I thought that I wouldn't receive anything else from my parents but my dad "stroke" again with a wonderful pair of ruby and diamond earrings to match the previous pieces that he had gifted me! Sadly I'm on vacation right now and I don't have a photo of the earrings.
After that, my brother in law gave me as a birthday gift another yellow gold bracelet, so that I can stack it with the one that he had gifted me before (my BIL loves a lot jewelry and he often gives such gifts to all the ladies of the family):

Last but not least, my DH today gave me the piece that made me the happiest that I could ever be!!!! A wonderful full eternity ring with RB diamonds! I have been wanting such a ring for quite some time and he had bought me previously a heavy eternity ring with pear cut diamonds that I hadn't fallen in love with and which I ended up returning. That ring was not as sparkly as I wished and it was so big that I couldn't stack it with my ER. This new ring that DH got me today is perfect!!! I won't post photos of it here because I think that it deserves its own thread, so I will save the pictures for that special thread!!!
Finally, I will attach a photo of a diamond solitaire ring that I had custom made in order to offer it as a gift to my niece, who got engaged earlier this year with just a yellow gold band. I thought that every girl deserves some diamond bling happiness, so I offered her this ring and she was truly ecstatic, something that made me very very happy! Here is the ring on my hand:

It seems I was into vintage and opalescence this year. A chrysoprase 14k pendant



An antique 9k rose gold curb chain padlock bracelet. I shortened it but now its too short! Lol.


And edwardian sterling silver and moonstone bracelet - just stunning!!! I need it shortened…

and the project closest to my heart…I worked with Inken to reimagine my wedding set. I slimmed down my original wedding band and got a whole new floral inspired solitaire to let my OEC shine

Sure! Not the best shot but hopefully helps. They are in the 8.5-9mm size range (from what I understand, pearl pricing is based on “ranges”)

id go to Moline himself on Instagram for pricing, he is very helpful. Pricing is based on not only size, but quality. So depending on what you are looking for, pricing varies a lot. You can also compare against Mikimoto pricing for the 8.5-9mm in AAA (this is the equivalent based on what Moline said)

2021 was the year I bought myself diamonds (and a bucket list item along the way). In January a semi custom DBTY (9 x 0.06 in platinum) arrived from WF (gotta have a trial purchase first, right? ) followed by a 6 stone ring also from WF in May (big birthday bucket list item). I'm thinking of adding the WF harmony in yellow gold or a VCA small perlee ring and that will be my left hand done.

Thank you - looks lovely on you! I love the iridescence of the first photo, but the dark gray is darker than I'm looking for. Hmmm. Perhaps this is one that I simply have to try on in person first, even if it means waiting a while.

I'd recommend considering the rose gold pave vintage alhambra pendant instead. It will go with so many more things and will coordinate with all other Alhambra pieces in rose gold.
