Hi all! Thoughts on this GIA report? I’m not familiar with ovals but this one came into my radar at a good price. Pass or buy (can return) and see it in person. A little worried about the J aspect as most my bands are G/H. Thoughts on that too? Thank you!!

i think it'll be hard to tell without seeing it in person but looks like it has a bowtie. maybe someone here can tell more by the depth. the camera can pick up more yellow than what you see in real life and you can't see how well the facets shimmer without seeing it in motion imho.

it looks very tinted. And the clarity bothers me, there is a lot going on what with "Twinning wisps, clouds, pinpoints and surface graining". That second pic you can see that the stone looks cloudy. I would worry that all that going on would impact performance.

Not a fan of the color as you really can see it.

Would pass

I wouldn't go for this one--it looks like there's a large bowtie, and the "additional graining" is a bit concerning considering that the stone doesn't look great in those pics.

Thanks everyone!! Passed and the search continues.
