Here's what I would look into. Based on the grading, who knows what color it actually is. If you jump to a J, it would I think get you what you're looking at, if not whiter, in a better cut.

I'd reserve these to get an idealscope on the one and see if the other is eye clean.

If Costco is what you are comfortable with, look at the diamonds offered with a GIA cert, post options up on the thread and ask for opinions. Costco has a great return policy, so why not? Even my independent appraiser - someone that is listed on this site, said that you can get a good deal from Costco. Heck - if you have the costco amex, you earn rewards, too!

I'm not good with specs on the diamond, only if I loom at it and like it upon seeing it. But given my experience with buying online with a small company vs a huge retail store with a great return policy, I'd choose the latter. Only because of my experience with both online and with costco. I know there is a round brilliant diamond calculator online to let you know how well it's cut.

In General I'm a big fan of Costco and their generous refund policy is one of the reasons. That's generally correct on most of what they sell but their policy on jewelry has relatively recently added this statement:

When returning unique jewelry items, or items containing a 1.00 ct center diamond or larger, Costco warehouses may require additional time to verify the diamond, in which case a refund will be approved upon positive verification and as long as the item is not damaged or changed in any way (i.e. resized or reset). This process may require two to five business days.

"Damaged in any way" is a fantastically broad description and given that resizing is specifically listed as grounds for exclusion, even though they say it's possible and even recommend it in their advertising, I would be prepared to have any sign of wear to be taken as damage and therefore void your return. Since they won't allow you to order in your size, following their instructions voids the right to return more-or-less immediately. It's still Costco, and they're still a pretty agreeable outfit, but their refund policy is no longer better than most other quality vendors, and worse than many.

Actually - buying a diamond at Costco is a real lottery

Yes you might bet a 1.05 carat instead of the listed 1.0
You might get a VS1 instead of the listed VS2

BUT - do check the cut
there are some good rocks and some real dogs (according to HCA)
from some diamonds that I checked out at Costco

And with better service; inspection, return, and upgrade policies; and with your choice of settings! Check out some of the vendors and you'll see that this is not a bargain price for a stone of that size and quality.
