Good afternoon. I recently purchased an ACA .903 diamond from Whiteflash. The diamond is posted here:

The reasons going for this diamond were that i had a budget for the diamond of around $8000 and in that range, i could either go bigger (1 ct and reduce the cut, or stick with this one) I chose this one as my g/f isnt particular on having a 1 ct diamond. And all the posts I read, when its set, its pretty difficult to even notice the difference between .9 and 1. So I chose to go with a better cut than size. In doing so, I had a little extra money left over to go with a better setting. I have been eyeing this particular setting and keep going back to it...

Id like an opinion on if this setting would possibly take away from the actual diamond based on the diamond's size, of if you think the two will still look fine together. In blue nile's gallery, they only showcase diamonds above 1.5 carat in the setting, so i dont get a real good idea on if it will look fine or not...
