Will this Cushion Sparkle and Perform Well?

Hello,

I am considering purchasing this cushion modified brilliant diamond. I would greatly appreciate expert opinions on this stone. I am looking to purchase within 24 hrs, so any immediate feedback would be super helpful. ASET image attached.

Did you start 3 threads asking the exact same thing?

In any event I am no expert but the ASET looks decent, though you can see some leakage on the table (the white spots) and on the borders.

Thanks, Skype. This was my first time posting, so I inadvertently posted 3 times (was trying to just change the title / heading). My apologies.

Thank you for your advice / opinion on this diamond. I am certainly no expert, either. But I got this ASET image on it this morning, and wanted to get it in front of some eyes who could give me some peace of mind.

+1 to skypie's comments.

Do check out August Vintage Inc. and also gemconcepts.net for cushions cut for maximum light performance.

It does show some leakage and while the stone might be ok, I* just dont find the faceting pattern very attractive. I think you may not be
getting many comments because it just seems like it sits on the border of being ok but not great.

*You, on the other hand, may find the faceting pattern attractive and that's ok.

Edit...you may want to give your specs and budget to see what other suggestions PSers can come
up with (for comparison).

Victor Canera and Brian Gavin also offer selection of cushions cut for light performance and provide ASET images. Do you know what style you’re looking for? Vintage (old mine/old English) or modern (brilliant, H&A)? Do you prefer broad flashes or crushed ice look?

Thanks for all of the input. I like the modern chunky facet look (not the crushed ice). Minimum 2.01c, G or H color. SI1 - VS1 clarity. Square over rectangle. Ex Symmetry and Polish. Table 61%-64%, Depth 66% - 68%.

The one I've posted here has the perfect specs / measurements for me.
