And, to add to the jacking....I love Little House. I watch it almost every day. I heart the Hallmark channel! Anyway, I just saw the episode DF was talking about. I cry every time I watch it, esp when Albert finishes the coffin. I just love old movies and old shows, sex-free, violence-free, curse-free, good old-fashioned television.

Oh, and SDL, you made me tear up a little on that last page. How eloquent.

Second, she is a raving beauty, clearly inside and out. What a great accomplishment. I am not surprised you are proud of her. And I am thrilled but not surprised she loved her gift...they are gorgeous and look great on her.

Thank you!! I''m partial to the little stinker, myself! lol Soon after she walked and we went to the reception, her adrenaline ran out.. she was just spent! lol


BTW, her pos Father never called on graduation day, he called on Friday and said well, I figured you were busy... he never sent a card or anything prior to graduation.. its not like he didn''t get advance notice- considering he was INVITED to her graduation!

She was pretty hurt and simply didn''t want to talk about it.


Her boyfriend''s parents threw her a party Friday evening and decorated their house for her. They are wonderful, lovely people.. I was so grateful.

Aww, I''ll bet she was tired--what a day she had!!! It''s really unfortunate her father basically crapped out and disappointed her, but she is clearly her mother''s daughter, from her looks to her brains to her sense of humour (you can tell she has a great one from that picture with the jewelry you gave her!). It''s a royal bummer that her father acted the way he did, but she''s still grown into such a wonderful woman, despite the things he did to sabotage that. She is the amazing person she is, no doubt, because you were such a good mother to her. Both of you should be so proud of each other.

SDL, you would NOT believe the e-ring I saw on a friend''s Mom this past weekend. I was sooooo channeling you and the PS''ers. I mean, her "promise" ring was over two carats, round, and I thought...sheesh, if that''s the promise ring, what is the e-ring going to be like...

Well, it turns out to be over 3 carats princess cut with pave (I think) around the sides and stones in the gallery...

I had to take pictures in the sun..with and without "fire". I tried to post but the pictures exceeded the size limit. I am so bummed. I thought you would be so proud of me for catching the "fire" in the sun. I will have my techno team member size the digital so I can post it. I have never seen so much bling on a lady. Her FI must have a lot of $$$.

This is the first day I have read in the Who''s Who area. When I first found PS we were looking for my ring and I was addicted to SMTR. The got the ring and wedding rings and have been looking at dresses, bouquets etc.

San Diego Lady, you story reminds me a bit of mine. I married the first time at 20 and stayed 22 years. Met the man of my dreams 4 years ago and we''re getting married in 19 days. I''m 47. yikes. Here''s a picture FI took of me when we were hiking trails.

And SDL your daughter is beautiful. My kids are both in college and I have a daughter. I miss them both!
