Yay, SDL has her own thread! You were one of the first people to respond to my very first thread, and after I found out your wedding was on a boat too, I felt you were something of a kindred spirit. And your beautiful 3-stone ring still is one of my favorites!

It must have been interesting growing up in a large family, although it sounds like there was a lot of turmoil too. Do you remember much about your mom? I''m sorry she passed away so young.
 
SDL, Michelle, it was great to read about you! I am glad you are so happy in your life now, and isn''t it wonderful how age can bring us wisdom about what is truly important in life?!

My mother''s favorite flowers were yellow roses too, and I always think of her when I see them (and also when I smell Oil of Olay on another woman).

I have been a member for 2 years now (almost) and I have to say I am quite suprised at how your life story pans out. Its nice to know that there are people out there that are genuinely nice and have a respect for people and their opinions as well as being able to overcome and be a stronger person.

I have always loved your posts, mainly because you always have something nice to say and I dont think I have ever read anything that you have written thats been bad or insincere.

That and I also have a deep love for sapphires!!
 
I completely agree with Alexis--I always think of you as being "thoughtfully opinionated" in that you''re not afraid to share your opinion, but you are always very courteous.

I never post on any of the political threads, but thoroughly enjoy reading your posts because it is obvious that you care to stay on top of current events and are passionate about how you feel. And not in a "just is this how I feel" kind of way, but in a "I''ve carefully looked at all the facts and have come to my own personal conclusion" kind of way, which I appreciate!
