Oh I have a few jewelry pieces and trinkets but it’s not all vintage. I do love vintage, MCM in particular. I will try to get some pics tonight...at least if I can’t get out to the shops I can relive the memories, lol

I have very much enjoyed browsing this thread!!

Ohhh a new person with new finds!!!!!! Can't wait to see. I really wish I had something to contribute but everything is closed. I miss the church rummage sale, the odd spring tag sale you happen to stumble upon, the indoor flea markets. It's okay though there will be more finds eventually.

I wear this bracelet often.Sterling with some nice detail and baroque pearls. I haven’t definitively traced the markings but I think it’s 70’s-80’s.

I wear this ring and bracelet less, sterling and enamel. I’m clumsy and afraid I’ll bang up the enamel, lol.

I’m a little embarrassed to show this before it’s cleaned up a little but it’s a recent find at an estate sale. A rather ornate sterling shoe horn...for $0.50. I guess the tarnish scared everyone else away. I love all the animals on the handle. EE66B8E1-DCA3-4569-8A01-25A1DF46A094.jpeg 67725FA8-B7CA-462B-816A-EDEDF7066B21.jpeg

This isn’t jewelry but I see sometimes other things are posted here so I hope it’s ok. One of my favorite finds...a pair of 60’s Murano blown glass egg lamps. I love these lamps soooo much! 200B9B68-274D-4670-9D08-5DFAEA6EB1EC.jpeg

Nice! Is that a kiwi on there? Are there any marks? It's really cool!
And those lamps are really wild! I have two Murano glass rings that I love.

It is a kiwi. There are marks but I seem to have great difficulty tracking down what they mean.

All I can say is that no Goodwill I’ve ever been to has anyone who really looks over the lamps. These were $10 and $8.
:oops2::cool2:=)2 We were out of town and they didn’t have boxes for them. I strapped them in with the seatbelts and found the nearest store with bubble wrap and boxes. LOL.

These were mixed in with a bunch of plastic beads but they are definitely vintage hand carved bone beads. Most are carved in rosettes but the largest ones are hollowed out with another tiny bead inside.

I want to keep but them but I really don‘t think I’ll wear them. I have been thinking about taking them apart to make a few beaded snowflake ornaments for my Christmas tree. I struggle with the thought... I don’t want to be like those people who chalk paint over beautiful mid century walnut furniture.

It's Sunday in case you didn't know! Just wanted to send this out to everyone who shares their finds and the newbies too because we love seeing everyone's treasures.

Well I might have to get out of here, it’s not helping the withdrawal. Not only have I read all 36 pages of this topic drooling over the stories and finds, but I’ve been binge watching UK Antiques Roadshow on Pluto. I‘ve considered asking DH to set up a garage sale in my own garage, with all my stuff so that I can “shop” and get excited at what I find.

But I should not be rude when you all have been so nice so I’ll post a pic for Sunday, lol. Right now this group of swung glass vases is in a terrible location on the basement mantle. Once we finish some renovations upstairs they’ll be brought up again and displayed in a lighter/brighter spot where they’ll look much better. ED0B1707-3DF3-4385-8277-B614C682B5A2.jpeg

@1ofakind, love the variety of colors and the different heights add a lot of visual interest. We could use colorful right now, something nice to look at makes life a little sweeter.

Cleaning out pics on my phone today...this was from the last trip out of town about a month before everything closed up. It’s a fantastic 70’s ceramic swag lamp. Great colors and nice shape. And then things shifted in the back of the car...

@1ofakind, oh no! That is the worst when you have a treasure and it gets broken.

I bought a music box that plays The Beatles "Here Comes The Sun" and the day I bought it the bag dropped from my hands as I was getting out of the car and it fell on the pavement chipping the bottom of the previously pristine music box. Ugh, one of the worst feelings I swear.

Well that’s a sad event. I do try to be careful but accidents happen. :???:
There are some thrift stores that are just careless with their donations...I hate seeing the fresh chips and cracks on items because they’ve been carelessly thrown in a huge bin. The saddest was a rare Stangl Pottery Chinese Pheasant with the tip of his beak freshly chipped off. Fortunately they didn’t just throw him in the trash bin so I was able to rescue him for just a few dollars. It will be worth it to have him professionally repaired...a nose job so to speak.

This is true, so many times at Goodwill I have seen treasures just thrown in the bin to be put out. Of course the end up broken, very disappointing!

Does it count as a haul if I find it cleaning out my jewelry box? It’s pretty slim pickings over here, lol.

i think this tri colored gold pendant will become a fun spinning ring. I wore it a lot before my original e-ring was made into an everyday pendant. It was a gift from DH so I’d get to wear it again! FCF98C6B-FB47-426D-8FD1-214A56633390.jpeg

I was thinking something like this... 2A14A529-DB30-40CF-AF37-83DDF5391EF7.jpeg

@1ofakind, the snake is marked 18k so maybe it's just a black rhodium finish over 18k...not really sure!

I like this idea of a ring that spins!

Not really old but two Troll beads a dragon and guardian angel both are solid silver

IMG_6858.JPG IMG_6859.JPG IMG_6860.JPG IMG_6861.JPG

I love looking at all the great finds in this thread but I somehow missed the Trollbeads in the first post that started it all. Did this all come from the same estate? If so, I think it’s funny that the two TB pendants here together are the naughty dragon and the guardian angel.... Anyway, I am here laughing to myself imagining the person that owned them thinking—I wore the naughty dragon yesterday so maybe I need the guardian angel today....
