I feel like we''ve somehow stumbled upon a heretofore unknown but amazing "ring pix" trick! Good goin'' Albi! The detail & "sparkliness" and color shooting from the stones is unbelievable ... like Tiffany photoshopped catalog quality ... only with NO TOUCHUPS!!! The real blingy deal!

You guys all your pictures came out looking great! There so sharp and crisp. You know what they remind me of - mug shots of criminals, except these are mugshots of PS members'' rings.

I wish I can try that, but unfortunately I don''t own a scanner

It is SO INTERESTING that scanners can produce such great pictures!

Hee hee...I tried it, and trust me...no one wants to see the results!

Note: "Mature" hands squished against a scanner are...well...SCARY!!!!

I finally got the courage to do it....and someone was on the scanner! Doing work! Argh. Not gonna happen.....

When I was scanning, a coworker walked in and said "Hey, what are you doing? Scanning your hand?" "Yup" I said "better my hand than somethin'' else!" By the time I said it, the scan was done and I just walked away with a big grin on my face!

For some reason my nails look yellowish, but I didn''t want to play with the tone, I wanted to get out of there!

The things I do for you ladies.

And the ring does look wicked cool this way.

Maybe I should work late and play around. LOL. No way! I almost got caught! I almost bailed at 78% done cuz someone was about to walk in.

If I did it, anyone can!!
