I tried loving the old cuts (OEC & AV Cushion) but ultimately I did a 360 back to a modern round. I love the mrb (have a Whiteflash ACA) splintery consistent performance. I try to squeeze a bit more fire with a taller crown. Lol. Would I try a old cut style step cut? I might but the premium $ of these stones are steeper than their modern counterparts. I’ll stick with modern.

You know.....the title of the thread could just have easily been who prefer MRB over emerald cuts, or pear shapes, or marquises.....
All of whom have exceptionally devoted, yet infinitesimally smaller than the group choosing MRBs
