Whiteflash 'contemporary' Vs 'classic' Tiffany settings

What is everyone's oppinion of the contemporary tiffany setting Vs the classic tiffany?

It seems that the only real difference is the width of the shank.

The contemporary is 1.5mm at the top and 2mm at the bottom where the classic is 2.5mm at the top and 2mm at the bottom. I think the thinner contemporary will make the diamond POP more. You could always ask whiteflash for comparison photos.

Thanks for your help, I have asked for some additional photos and hopefully that will make it easier to decide

I voted for the contemporary setting. I love it and was so very close to buying it for my diamond, but ended up buying a similar setting from local jeweller.

I love how its thinner at the top so you get the look of a thin band but it's still strong. I also loved the hexagon shaped donut.
