Is that a princess cut? If so, it''s the first time I''ve ever liked one! It must be the white sapphire making it look so yummie. Where can I buy this gem? I''m now thinking I would prefer it over diamonds for studs. Does anyone know its cost in relation to diamonds?
Thanks for the comments, everyone!! I really appreciate it! ... & It looks even better in person!
tulip928, stary_eyed04, & LovinSapphires: I got the sapphire online, from the Natural Sapphire Company ...
Circe: I haven''t officially proposed yet, but it''s coming up Sunday! So hopefully I''ll have some handshots by then
LovinSapphires: The accent stones are also white sapphires!
MoonWater: It''s radiant cut, but shaped almost perfectly square like a princess .. & it cost ~$500 per carat, so it was surprisingly affordable. (Also, w/me and the girlfriend not really caring for diamonds, that helped the decision!)
Well I am sure that she will be so happy with that ring. It is beautiful and am sure it is even more so in person! There are so many other options for people who don''t care for diamonds but you don''t see white sapphire very often so that was a great idea!
Oh I''m sure your GF will love the ring, it''s beautiful. I love the tone of the stone [ha that rhymes!] and the setting. Congratulations on a great choice and good luck with the proposal!
