I want to get two eternity wedding bands to put on either side of my Platinum e-ring. I am seeing a lot of them in white gold. Obviously if I got WG it would be cheaper, but would they match? I have read that platinum and wg age differently. Is this true?

And this is probably a really stupid question...

But, is the strengths of the metals an issue? Is platinum better for eternity?

General consensus 'round these parts is that wearing them next to each other is a no-no. The two will rub away at each other, one of the metals takes more damage than the other but I forget which is which.

Mix White-Gold E-ring with Platinum Band?
Wearing Platinum and White Gold Together?

I've read on here that platinum is generally preferable for an eternity band. Platinum is less brittle than gold/white gold, so if a prong is knocked it's bent instead of broken. Just the word on the street!
