Hi
Can anyone give me some advice for this ideal scope diagram ? It show a white area on the left. I wonder how it would affect the performance this diamond. Will it makes it a less desire diamond to purchase ?

Heart and arrow diamond suppose to have an ideal proportion for its light performance. Why is there a white area and is it refer to a bad light leakage with this diamond?

This is a James Allen true heart diamond

Its most likely a refection due to alignment issues with the scope/lens/diamond.
Post the ideal-scope image and if it looks good then the white spot is not an issue.

IMG_7503.jpegLooks like the arrow pattern is rather perfect with this diamond as it supposed to be

yep looks good, would look even better without the tilt but it shows enough.
The white spot in the heart image is a reflection.

With your expertise , can you tell me that whether this diamond is eye clean ? Because the black inclusion spot looks big with the image

vs1 is usually eyeclean but this one has a dense cloud and a crystal right next to each other.
I suspect it might be visible to someone with very very good vision.
They do have a good return policy if you want to check it in person.

That’s what I concerned about. Normally VS1 should be eye clean and stuff from James Allen also say that it will be eye clean .

Here is another diamond with heart and arrow with around the same price.it is a vvs2 diamond but smaller and e colour. Funny that the gia claim it is 1.74 but the size of it fits into 1.71ct as described in the website

Which diamond would you pick in this situation ?bigger and better colour of course more appealing to me with the same price

Not a fan of the g-vvvs he combo of 57table 55% stars and a 35.5 crown angle has a very high chance of of looking small in some lighting as the edges go dark.

Appreciate your advice. I have placed order with the 1.74 ct f vs1 diamond. Hopefully everything comes out great . Stuff from Jamesallen also claim this diamond is guaranteed eye clean. If so I think this diamond is very well priced

@chung ka ming, I’m not posting to dispute your decision. I’m @Karl_K has guided you well.

But this is the first time I’ve seen a size discrepancy between a GIA report and the info provided by the seller. I assume the report either belongs to another stone, or they made a mistake when typing up the website info.

Anyone else see this before?

I understand . With the size of the inclusion, i would have it classified as vs2 or even SI1. That is why I suspect it would not be eye clean. There is a high risk I am taking with the selection of this diamond. Fortunately I have confirmed with jamesallen about the return policy .

Of course the price with it (19900USD) also makes me wonder why a eye clean 1.74ct diamond is kind of underpriced when compare to others

I will have it confirm with jamesallen stuff later if they put the wrong GIA report on the website

Please let us know how it looks in person and pics are always welcome!

Sorry . I misunderstand haha. I thought you were talking about the F colour one . But yes , base on the size of the g vvs2 diamond . I think it is not 1.74 as described in the report . I think it is more like a 1.71 diamond

The weight is always the most accurate thing on a report.
The pics/video for the f/vs1 match the report and the numbers within the gia gross rounding are plausible.
