thank you so much for your kind comments. I’m very touched and will take these lovely memories with me. I really had thought that the most appropriate, light-handed departure would just be to go quickly and quietly, but have since learned I was wrong about that! I’ll make one last post in hangout on the thread started there for me, and wish you all well.

Thank you again; what a fine group of women you are! You’ve warmed my heart and put a smile on my face many times, and I’m sure I’ll miss all of you as much and more than you’ll miss me.

ok - here's the most wonderful dog in the world getting ready for a walk with his mom in winter.
