Having a hard time deciding which style setting looks better with my existing rose gold bands. They are not changing!

I love all three for different reasons. Please don't pay big attention to the different sizes of the stones. In both solitaires I will be getting a stone slight larger and that halo stone is huge my stone will be slight smaller.

6 prong classic

Bezel

Halo with diamonds on shank

Halo without diamonds on shank.

Better suggestions are welcomed!

Re: Which style settinglooks better with my existing bands?

Are any of the plain shank halos? I feel like both the halos have diamonds on the shank.

I think I'd vote plain shank halo.

Re: Which style settinglooks better with my existing bands?

I actually really, really like the bezel! My second choice would be either of the halos.

Re: Which style settinglooks better with my existing bands?

Oops. Didn't mean to post that last pick. Lol

Here are a couple more picks with just one rose gold band but I really still want to wear my perlee.

I like the pink halo style

Re: Which style settinglooks better with my existing bands?

As it sits now, I LOVE the bezel with those two bands. PLEASE wear all three! Maybe throw one more in there!

The bezel is my favorite, though I think I'd like a plain shank halo with the stone set bezel.

Re: Which style settinglooks better with my existing bands?

I didn't think this part would be so hard. For a long while I thought I would want a bezel to be honest. But when I tried that classic 6 prong I was shocked by how much I loved the setting and the way the diamond sparkled in it. The halo was beautiful but I am pretty sure I would not want diamonds in the shank. They didn't have that option there. I do want whatever I pick to work with my bands awesomely because they mean so much to me and have special engravings on the inside etc...

Niel... I love bezel set halos too. I am just trying to narrow my search so that I can then decide between a couple rings not 100s of rings.

I will add that I am thinking it is better to put in a few more dollars for a nicer setting that lasts a bit longer then going with the cheapest stone holder that stresses my mind for a reset so early on.

Re: Which style settinglooks better with my existing bands?

do you still have those bezel bands you is d to have??

Re: Which style settinglooks better with my existing bands?

I don't really like anything with it as much as I like your solitaire with the set, and that's the truth. But if I had to pick, it would be neither. I like the rose gold on the square halo. But I prefer the round halo. So I would combine the two into a round halo with rose gold.

I think I'm not getting this. You like the solitaire the most but you wouldn't pick it? But instead a round halo with rose gold? I was shocked how much I loved the solitaire. Just worried about the size of stone and it not being enough. This stone in the pronged photo is .61 but you now the stones I'm looking at already you and Niel helped me pick them:)

Just for anybody else that might be reading none of these diamond rings are mine;)

Re: Which style settinglooks better with my existing bands?

Sorry for the confusion.

I love the 6 prong solitaire.

But I thought you wanted a halo.

But if you are asking what I like best-- solitaire hands down. Looks great on your hand. And with your existing bands.

Re: Which style settinglooks better with my existing bands?

I like both the solitaire and bezel. Problem is I don't like Twp tone bezels, so the bezel would be rose gold.

Also, I don't like the bezel JA sells.

I agree. Solitaire for sure. Looks beautiful with your bands. Elegant, classic, timeless and just lovely.

THanks for the clarification! No I actually am torn because I own a halo and when I first added it I was like "WOW" then within a short period of time I just saw my original small diamond with smaller diamonds wrapped around. I started to not like it. I really wanted it to look bigger of course but that wore off quickly and I feel like it had to do with the center being so small. I realized I wanted a bigger diamond. Its been almost 14 years so I am good with doing this. I would take a leap with the solitaire I just want to be sure it will have presence on my finger I guess I wouldn't know until its on my finger. AND unfortunately she didn't have any .80-.90 in stock.

Were you saying you would do the solitaire in Rose or keep it white with my rose gold bands?

Re: Which style settinglooks better with my existing bands?

the bezel looks PERFECT with the bands. And I have impeccable taste.....

I definitely could not do a two toned bezel. Either all white or all rose. Something would definitely look off to me. THe pronged is .61 but the bezel was .67 does the bezeled diamond look much bigger to you than the .06?

I don't like the James Allen Bezel either! Ingeneral I don't love squared off shanks either.

If I did the pronged solitaire I am curious about the more expensive "handmade" version as a daintier pronged and setting over all... But no one seems to have pictures:(

Feeling like I really want to avoid having to send the stone to another vendor for setting. Hassle, insurance shipping worry and more time.

Ah well the second setting I linked is out. I do think the first one would be beautiful though.

Of the 6 prong handmade version is your forever setting, go for it, if its temp, I would just get the cheap one. Its really not as bad as you think.

Missy! Thanks you for your comment you just described exactly what I am going for:)

I love it. The gold matches, and it's perfect with the bands! The solitaire is nice too!

Re: Which style settinglooks better with my existing bands?

I think white looks great as is. I like the contrast. :-)

Re: Which style settinglooks better with my existing bands?

Niel~ I like that setting too. They suggested it as a low profile option for me. I think I am narrowing it down a bit so all this helps. I am not sure that nicer 6 prong would be my "forever" setting...It depends on how much I love it on. I loved the Tiffany version thats for sure. I just would hate to get the other version and feel pushed to switch it out too soon. Two months is too soon for sure. lol I was on chat with one of the SAs and she said that she honestly can't tell the difference. lol BUT when I look at the real video of the rings in the difference carat weights I can see the difference. Is that difference worth the extra money?

Can you tell the difference between these two rings? Is the difference worth the money in your opinion?

Absolutely..

Its not too expensive in the scheme of things, especially if you end yo with one of the cheaper diamonds. :))

Re: Which style settinglooks better with my existing bands?

I know you said it really wasn't a choice, but my favorite is the cushion halo with the pink.

Re: Which style settinglooks better with my existing bands?

Love the bezel setting you posted with the bands, definitely my first choice! Then the 6-prong solitaire second. Not a fan of any of the halos with your bands.
