Let me first thank everyone that assisted in my stone selection. The stone is still on it's way in, however I wanted to get a head start on the setting. Initially, I thought I'd have until the end of this year as I was hoping for a proposal around the holidays. This time-frame has just changed and I'm now looking for a Thanksgiving proposal. With that said, I'm completely out of time and cannot do a custom setting.

I'm really just looking for help in finding rings similar to the pictures in the links below. Her only requirements is that it should show as much of the diamond as possible (pave) and that it be thin (2mm - 2.2mm) based on my research which makes for a more structurally solid piece (she's a size 5 1/8 or 5 1/4). Something feminine and dainty.

Platinum will be the metal with 4 prongs ideally, however they can be the split type to perhaps show the cut corners of my stone. A halo is not mandatory as I think the stone is large enough on its own, but if a halo must be suggested, it must be a very small one and nothing that is truly designed to make the stone appear massive. I was hoping for 3 sided pave or engraving, however at this point, I just need to make sure I'm able to make my new deadline and can't get too picky.

I'm worried that I won't be able to accomplish this task before Thanksgiving, especially when you factor in the trips this needs to the appraiser for insurance purposes (still haven not yet researched how ring insurance works). Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!!

I should also mention that I'm working with GOG on the matter, however they won't be back till Tuesday and I was hoping to get ideas before then to save time.

That's super easy.

GOG carries Vatche.

Just look around on the Vatche website and you will see a ton of settings in the style you want. :-)

Thank you Gypsy! I contacted GOG today and mentioned to them about what I'd seen. I was pointed away from Gabrielle and Co for some reason, however I'm awaiting to hear back on what they think my options are given my time crunch. From the looks of what I've seen, it appears it's going to be difficult to get a thin 2mm - 2.2mm in a cathedral (or non-cathedral setting) with quality melee stones without going custom.

The images I sent to them which I thought were pave were really prong/bead settings and I've included those links below. A part of me is very letdown despite getting the opportunity to propose sooner as I won't be able to get exactly what I had in mind or roughly something close it seems. I just needed to minimize the metal showing and maximize the visible diamond going down the shoulder and I thought pave would be the way to do that.
