Which of these two diamonds is better. Including statistics.

I wonder whether I might get some help deciding between two GIA diamonds please. They are near enough the same price. Both score 0.6 on the HCA, both score Excellent on all HCA counts except the second one scores VG for spread.

I wonder which would people plump for, and why. And is there very little between them, or an obvious 'better'.

If you want a 100 percent clean stone that you will never see the inclusion get a VS1 or even VS2 , Paying for IF while getting such a low colour is absurd, I would prefer many D/SI2 to that stone.

Thank you for your input. In terms of clarity and colour I am definitely settled on the parameters in my OP, and am choosing between these two diamonds.

stone 2 has a negligible difference in diameter. The 34 crown angle is more appealing to me but i would prefer I colour .

Ditto - would prefer I color, 34 crown angle and would not pay for IF clarity.

Many thanks for both of your advice so far. I understand what you are both saying about IF but these two diamonds work best for me in terms of all my requirements. Regarding the crown angle, will diamond 2 be a noticeably better-cut diamond than diamond 1? In terms of cut is there anything working in diamond 1's favour?

This goes beyond your size and maybe beyond the price range as well but it is a beautiful, True Hearts stone. No worries here either! You'll notice the 34 crown angle and the very complimentary 40.9 pavilion angle.
