Which of these 3 Vintage Cushions should we buy?

So thanks to your help she has narrowed it down to 3 cushions, and of course, is now struggling to make that final decision. I know we have to see these stones in person so I'm just trying to figure out which one to start with -- as I can not afford to "be in the diamond business" if you know what I mean :$$):

Stone will be mounted in a halo w/ pave.

1.4ct AVC K/SI1, 6.83x6.26
If we bought this stone we would shop a hand made setting from MH,VC,SK etc...
$7760

1.22ct Canera Antique Cusion H/VS2, 6.48 x 6.04
If we go this route, we wouldn't see the stone first and would obviously have Victor do the setting.
$8386

1.22ct Cushion Brilliant H/VS2, 6.25mm Square
Available locally.
$7500

Hi, I think it depends if the colour bugs you or not. If she wants a truly white looking stone then the Canera cushion hands down. If the colour doesn't bother you at all then the GOG AVR would obviously be the larger stone. I don't think you could go wrong with either of these stones they are both stunning. I don't like the third cushion by comparison at all, don't like the pic of the actual stone and don't like the ASET of it - but it is personal taste, ie what you both like the best.

I don't care for the ASET of the local stone - especially the middle of it. Doesn't even hold a candle to the other 2.

Honestly? I'd go VC - stone and setting. (I don't think VC will even set an AVC.) Plus it's whiter - you will see tint in a K. And once it's set in a halo the diameter difference will not be an issue.

What she said. The third one is not in the same league so eliminate that one.

Not to a stickler but the first two options are not vintage/ antique diamonds. These are new cuts, big difference.

Anyhow I like the VC cushion better that is just overall look. I really think it depends your tolerance for color. Honestly I would get them both and compare in person. If you can see them both in hand I think you will find a clear winner.

I just don't have the means to do that, but is what I expected... It's really going to boil down to being able to see the stones in person; but without having the other to compare it with - each one will look good regardless... If comparing the Canera H/VS2 to a K/SI1 AVC the whiter stone would probably be preferred...

I guess it boils down to CUT vs. COLOR, and which is more significant in this case?

I'm a huge fan of the AVC, but I'd pick the VC cushion in your case. The color contrast between the K and small melees might bother you. I believe you won't notice much of the size difference between the K and the H once set in a halo setting.

Actually it boils down to SIZE vs COLOUR. The cut of the first two are perfect & amazing, and that is what you are paying for. I think with a white halo you won't notice the size difference that much. If you are colour sensitive I reiterate the VC stone should be the winner.

Victor for the win.

VC won't set AVC.

This is true, but I think the gist is it would be going to Steven if they purchase the AVC. Victor will give you some sort of discount on the setting if you buy the stone and setting from him too btw.

Ok, I am considering a similar situation. This might seem like a dumb question, but does the VC CAC's put off the same pastels/fire as AVC? Victor's video's never show the fire of his stones, they are always in diffused or florescent lighting so you never see their full potential... not like GOG does...so it makes me wonder if his are as nice of stones?
