Where to look for a chain for a pendant

Where can I find an inexpensive yellow gold chain for a pendant? I am thinking about 18-20" long and probably 14 kt.

Pawn shops located in the better parts of town may well have a selection of gold chains, and will sell them based upon their gram weight. Usually for much less than jewelers retail.
