I looked around on JA, BGD, and Whiteflash and can't seem to find something dainty with pave halo for an emerald cut diamond. Can someone help?

what's your budget? If you have a bit for the setting, then you can always go custom and get exactly what you want. I'll search around for you...

$2500-$3000 at the most. I don't know if that is enough for custom.

I've been looking for something like this for my potential re-set. I actually really like this setting: http://studio2015.com/images/large/32_747_434.jpg

A company named Sylvie makes it: http://www.sylviecollection.com/ From what I've heard (I've called a few local jewelers) the quality is fine and they are a really great company to work with. Their settings seem really pretty, and I believe in your price range.

What are the stats of the stone you are setting, if I may ask?

I like the DBL one the best, do you think they might be able to make it more structured, rectangle, instead of roundish?

I do love tacori but it is a little too ornate for my taste. The EC I am looking at is 1.12ct, but more squarish than elongated which I really like.

I have been really pleased with the work of Sareen Jewelry he has some lovely pave settings... He did my engagement ring and my bands... a bit off mainstream from here but I love what he did and his pave work is beautiful. He is also very, very nice... and easy to deal with.

Hi Allie,
Yes that setting is built around the center diamond- it follows the outline of the stone perfectly ( if that's what the buyer wants)

I love the look with an emerald cut

Then something like Gypsy's Steven Kirsch setting for her asscher comes to mind. It is simple and very elegant. It would be beautiful on an EC as well.

Love her ring!!

Thank you both so much DS and AB, you made my day!

Allie, if you want high quality pave and great customer service I highly recommend Steven. One of my best friends just got a setting from him as well and it's breathtaking. He's not warm and cuddly like Lesley at BGD but he is impeccably professional in his dealings and his pave work is just fabulous. He has a great eye for proportion and design as well.

I would call him or email him with your stones dimensions, tell him you have a 3k budget and ask him what he can do for you with that budget.

Good find, FG!!! I actually think Eternity Diamonds would be a great choice for you, Allie!!! I would give them a call. That setting is really pretty.
