Where can I get a schlumberger x band copy (if that's possible)?

It looks newer because it is stated in the listing that it has been polished.

I've seen many listings on eBay and I can see that these are the photos that I previously seen elsewhere. Does not mean you will receive a fake ring but most likely it will not be exactly the one you see. One of the pics in this listing is the same as one from the other listing, for example. Sometimes people just take someone else's photos just because they look nice.

You can ask for photos of the actual ring and then study them.
Regarding taking it to Tiffany's for cleaning: we discussed it here before that this is not a 100% guarantee for many reasons: SA may not be skilled enough, or not attentive, or may not care too much.

Guaranteed authenticity would be some servicing like polishing by Tiffany or other services. This is where they would have to take the ring in, send it to the workshop where specialists would examine it with scrutiny. Cleaning is a nice method just for some inner peace but typically I rely on my own judgment here.

Another option for you is to try and look for the rings which come with the original Tiffany valuation reports.

Very good to know about pictures not being of the actual item potentially. I cant believe they would do that with jewelry and these up close detailed images. I supposed I could pay for polishing and hopefully it would be done within 30 days so it would give me some sense of authenticity at least. How much does polishing cost and any idea on turnaround with COVID? Historically looks fairly cheap ($50?) and around 2.5 weeks is what I'm seeing

I think the new ring is the same ring from Bonanza. It's possible it's one seller and they have it on two sites to sell or it's two sellers and one of them just used pix from the other.

Yeah that could be. Interestingly that seller has not responded yet. But the seller of this ring did respond and states the pictures in the ad are from the exact ring I will be purchasing. There is no return policy for this seller, but they do guarrantee authenticity so if I have an issue there I should be able to return based on that? I'm going to make a 5k offer and see where that goes! https://www.ebay.com/itm/293251953868?ul_noapp=true

5k offer on such a ring is a bit low. Personally I don't know about rates and timing in the USA, so also good luck with it.
Alternatively you can write to me on loupe troop and I may help to source this ring at a better price (5.5-6k).

:wavey:Hi again Pinot Noir! That is aweome that you are well versed in VCA. That is one brand that I never feel comfortable buying second hand because I absolutely can't tell real from fake. The markings truly look the same to me. I feel that way about Cartier LOVE and Juste un Clou bracelets as well. The fakes looks so real and the reals look so fake.:???: I do buy plenty of second hand signed pieces on Ebay but only ones that I consider rarely ever copied.:D
Thanks for the ring compliments. I did buy them to wear stacked together but rarely wear them. I think it was the allure of the chase to find a second matching one that piqued my interest. No that I have them they sit in a box!
I have listed them on Ebay a few times in the past year to sell and will relist them again soon.
I want to wait for a seller's special where the final value fee is discounted.
Here is a pic of them stacked on my finger.

Hi! May I enquire if you are selling one of the ring? I’m new to the forum and am unable to find out how to DM you. Thank you!

Hello c_ling!
Thanks for your message. I actually would like to sell one or both but I can only ship to the USA. Sounds like you are in another country?
I'm sorry..

:wavey: I thought you were not from the USA because we spell "inquire" and "enquire" differently. I'm a spelling detective!

@c_ling Just a heads up that PS doesn’t allow emails to be written out in posts! I reported your post just now to alert our moderators.

What you can do instead is create an account and a contact listing here:
And then it might be best to create a new thread in PS Preloved calling Rubies with the @ to discuss further. We’re also not really supposed to discuss our own pieces for sale in RT but it’s perfectly fine in Preloved!
