What size diamond for 3 prong martini pendant?

I'm still in the thinking (read: saving up!) phase of my WF 3 prong martini pendant. It will have 18k white gold prongs & 18k rose gold 16" chain. I'm beyond excited!!

Budget for diamond alone is expected to be around $3k. When I put all the ideal specs into WF search it brings up ACA diamonds up to about 0.75ct.

Is this a case of bigger is better? When the time comes do I get the biggest diamond I can?

Hi There,
It's hard to say what is better for you. Some people like a delicate look, whereas others like more bolder look. I would either go out & try some pendants on or even cut out different size circles and tape them on another pendant or just stick it on your chest. LOL If it were me, I'd go for the biggest stone I could afford. LOL .75 is a nice size for a pendant. Good luck.
