Well, I was at lunch today and an email pops up on by blackberry saying my ags reports and pics are in...My ring should ship January 14th!!!!!

YAY!

Now, I know that the clarity was not going to be good to begin with so don't freak out when you see the clarity.... But the cut did turn out nicely!!!!!

Yes, FI and I are having it set in the Tiffany Knife Edge Platinum setting from WF!

Ummm... this is a great point. I think, given the carat weight before cutting that the EGL cert was wrong, or there was a typo???

Ummm... this is a great point. I think, given the carat weight before cutting that the EGL cert was wrong, or there was a typo???

My bad it was 6.84!

And the cert was actually an IGI cert not an EGL....(hides)

Thanks for the kind words.... with the inclusions it is a bit discouraging...but for now it beats buying a new diamond...

Hello all....No ring images yet.....

But.... Vera just sent me an email and let me know that I was the last recut for WF for now since Brian has departed. I heard they have had to turn away a few people now...which is a shame. I am glad FI agreed to do it when we did. I hear that Brian is still going to be doing recuts though...just not through Whiteflash. (I think Shady71 is doing one with Brian currently for those of you looking to do one.
