what does a 1 ctw cushion stud look like on ear lobe?

Anybody happen to have .5 carat each (1 ctw) cushion diamond studs or can find a picture of what they look like on an ear lobe? If I google it I only see images of .5 carat rounds and I know cushions face up smaller.

Tell us the mm diameter of the cushions and then you can have an idea what size round it would look like.

The dimensions are 4.6 x 4.59 x 3.29 and 4.66 x4.63 x 3.32mm.

Half carat rounds are going to be around 5.1mm, so these may have the surface area closer to a .40 round. So I would consider setting them in bezels, halos, or as the center stone in drop earrings if you desire a larger look.

I've been scrounging around PS trying to find cushion stud pics for you. The first set of photos, which include 2 (close-up) ear shots, in this 2010 thread come the closest of those I've seen so far -- missydebby's .83 tcw August Vintage Cushion studs; she doesn't seem to have ever posted the mm dimensions of the stones:

Since you know the mm of these cushions, draw it out on paper, cut it out, and stick it to your ear about 5mm out. Rolled piece of tape will work, as will the squishy double sided tape.. That's the best way to see how it will look on you. Everyone's earlobes are different.
