what do you think of this band?

I saw your rocky talky post...I think it''s VERY pretty! The picture might be a little deceiving, size-wise (which I guess is almost always true, right?). I think it would make a great band to stack with, but not sure it would carry itself on its own. How are you thinking about wearing it??

It''s a cute ring. Elmorton may be right about size. . .the ring would make a great wedding band w/an eng. ring or a dainy RHR.

I''m pretty sure I tried on a near exact copy of that ring just before Christmas. It was in 14kt WG though, and was $299. For me, I found it didn''t have great finger coverage, and looked out of place with my solitaire and eternity band. For a RHR, it would be dainty, but I just didn''t love it once I tried it on. I do love sapphire and diamond bands though. I would love to have a sapphire/diamond eternity band one day. I think you can get better deals on overstock.com right now. It seems a little high priced IMO.

thanks so much for the feedback ladies!
elmorton--I planned to wear it as a RHR. My ring fingers on each hand are different sizes, though I''d like to be able to either wear it as a RHR or with my e-ring on occasion. I''ll probably just end up wearing it as a RHR.

I thought for the color and clarity of the stones, the $800 price was pretty good. Where did you see this ring for $299??? I wish I could find that deal!

I tried one on in a B&M store that was almost exactly the same size stones and it looked pretty nice--my finger on my right hand is a 5.5 or 6, so my fingers are kinda smallish. I really loved it but the B&M store was over $900. I''ve looked on Overstock and can''t find one just like this with G-H, VS or so clarity diamonds and sapphires that aren''t really dark.

If anyone can point me to one, I''d be sooooo happy!

LOL! Well, that would be my loyal jewellery store where I actually have my own personal sales associate. Honestly, I do have one. Thing was, they showed me a ring they had just sold, but it was too small, so they looked around for another one. The one I tried on was 10kt WG, but the one they found was 14kt, so they offered it to me for the 10kt price. That alone almost made me go for it, and the sapphires were a really nice rich but not dark blue, but my size is 7, and I just thought it didn''t look right on me. Either it should have been bigger stones or smaller stones, hard to explain. A finger coverage issue.

Now, the one I could have died for was a Tacori sapphire baguette and round diamond eternity band! Gorgeous.

I really like it, very pretty!

i would find out what "minor inclusions" means exactly. the ring is going to be pretty small, yet may not make a great stacking ring because it probably does not have total finger coverage lengthwise.
