Exactly! The shades and textures are so varied. The ones I have are fine separately, but they are more pinkish with greater opacity and more uneven color. Generally more casual. I love the look in and of itself, but it’s just too different. It is hard to find lavender jade which really fits.

Thanks for the compliment on my pendant! It is truly one of my most worn pieces because it goes so well in an office environment. Just yesterday I had the earrings, pendant and ring on, with one lavender bangle, (full on jade jewelry outfit) and thought that more fitting earrings are becoming a future must since I wear the pendant so frequently.

I'd like to see the whole ensemble, please, when you have the time. They sound fab!

Today I’m wearing the 10th anniversary band my husband just gave me (our anniversary is today). It’s a preloved yellow gold (my favorite) eternity band with diamonds and rubies. I know nothing of the specs but in person it’s lovely and wearable. I prefer bands to solitaires as I’m a klutz.

This isn’t what I’m wearing, but it is a new acquisition...I fell in love with this 3.05 carat bi colored sapphire. The pictures don’t quite capture it, but the body is very light lavender blue with great crystal. It looks like cobalt ink has been released into water with the blue part. It’s native cut with somewhat of a window, but that’s ok with me for this stone . I have had the little oval sapphire, which is a similar blue. If I can get another one cut, then I could use them as side stones, or put a diamond in a similar shape in the opposite side. I alsoThought that a nest of swirling, somewhat randomly placed baguette diamonds could be pretty around it, somewhat like Suzanne Kallan’s designs which play with light beautifully.

My carved Phoenix and dragon antique bangle, the braced one which I had repaired when it split, and the rest. You've seen it all before, so nothing new yet in the jade department ...You can see that the earrings are Such a different look, feeling and with a different, pinkish violet. I really would love a better match to my pendant with earrings! Though the ring isn’t a perfect match with the pendant, I don’t feel the need to get another one yet because Moonlight jelly goes really well with the pendant. At least for now, lol!

Such a lovely set. Given that the earrings would be worn closest to the pendant, I can understand why you'd like to look for something more purple than pink!
