I am looking to get a simple solitaire ring, similar to the Legato Sleek by Whiteflash or the Alessandra by Dimend Scaasi. My girlfriend would likely prefer something that is somewhat personalized. If it can't be personalized or embellished, its not a big deal, but I thought I would explore that option.
Consider the Alessandra below.
I like its elegant simplicity. Is it possible to add a little something without detracting much from the simplicity? I don't want a basket of sorts to sit around the diamond, so adding anything around the prongs is not an option. Also, I like the simplicity of the prongs, so changing them might not work. What are some ways to embellish such a simple ring?
Here is one idea. Perhaps I could add a little hole/diamond thing on the band at some point. As you can see below, Tacori adds such a thing at the 7 o'clock mark.
Alternatively, perhaps something could be added at the intersection under the diamond. I am not sure what that would look like, but its an idea.
Could you please share some other ways to personalize such a simplistic design without impeding the simplicity? Pictures of the embellishments would be great!
