Starting to llok for a Christmas present for my wife and was wondering what everyone thought was a better buy: Whiteflash or Brian Gavin? I realize the WF is a bit more expensive as it has more ctw but im sure BGD could do a custom for the same price. I guess I'm curious which bracelt will pop more on my wife's wrist. Thanks!

They're both gorgeous. Whiteflash has thicker bezels, kind of donut-shaped, whereas Brian Gavin's bezels are very fine and delicate for a "floating" look.

If you want the bracelet to pop, my advice would be to get fewer, larger diamonds. I ordered a BGD bracelet with 3x 0.12 stones instead of more smaller stones, and it is STUNNING. Since I have quite a small wrist at 6.25 inches, the three diamonds look as if they go all round my wrist. However, this may not work as well if your wife has a larger wrist, and also the larger diamonds are quite a bit more expensive even when the carat weight is the same. Larger diamonds always cost exponentially more.

Having said that, I also have a Tiffany DBTY bracelet with stones of 0.07, so the same as the ones here, and thinking about it, that bracelet also pops really well, because the stones are sparkly. The WF or BGD stones will also sparkle really well because they are all super-ideal-cut melee.

I'll try to dig out some links of my bracelets. I'll post the BGD, which is diamond, and the WF, which is sapphire-by-the-yard but you'll be able to see the different bezel shape.

I don't think I have shots of the Tiffany, but I'll try to take some. It may not be till Monday as I've got some pretty intense houseguests staying!

ETA: Just read the specs of the bracelets in your links. The BGD diamonds are only 0.06, and be warned - that is REALLY small. Personally, I've found the BGD diamond melee to be slightly sparklier than the WF. If it were me, I'd look into a bracelet with fewer but larger stones. Maybe 4 x 0.12, or 4 x 0.10?

Brian Gavin bracelet in rose gold, 3 x 0.12 diamonds, signature melee. If you order a similar bracelet, don't forget to specify that the diamonds must be signature melee.

Whiteflash sapphire-by-the-yard bezel bracelet. The thread also has the matching earrings, but if you scroll down to the end, you'll see some close-ups of the bezels. They are much more substantial than BGD's, whose bezels are very delicate and fine, which is supposed to give a "floating" look. WF's bezels when set with diamonds may have the effect of plumping up the diamond, since both diamond and metal are white.

This thread below has my Tiffany DBTY bracelet with 0.07 stones right at the end, pictured with my watch. There's a ton of pictures here so you'll need to scroll right to the bottom.

The rest of the thread is my matching BGD rose gold DBTY necklace pictured with my WF sapphire-by-the-yard necklace. In some of the close-ups, you can see the difference between the bezels again:

The Tiffany pictures aren't really representative of how small (yet very sparkly!) the stones are, so as I said, I'll try to take some shots for you. I'll attempt to do that tonight, actually, since time is running short for Christmas delivery. I ordered a BGD necklace last night and they said Christmas delivery would be a little tight, so I guess you need to get your order in sooner rather than later.

ok, thanks for the info. i was worried about .06 being too small. ive asked BGD for 4x.10 and 4x.12. hopefully it is reasonable. she has small wrists so i think those will really pop.
