WF custom setting experience?

Does anyone have experience with getting a custom ring setting from WF? How long did it take and what was the approximate cost?

I haven't been able to find my preferred ring setting on any website which was why we were going to go with something custom from a local Canadian jeweler. However, I think they're ghosting me now because they haven't responded to my emails asking them to look for stones with a certain table/depth % and ideal angles. I think I've finally convinced my partner to go with an ACA stone from WF since I like how I can compare and contrast the different stones (at this point my partner has just left me to finalize everything - he's so fed up with my pickiness ).

Anyways, I've sent an email asking WF asking a quote but would love to hear about others' experiences. My last resort is to buy a loose diamond from WF and find a local jeweler for a custom setting, but it feels easier to just get it all done in one go.

For those who are curious, the ring setting I'm looking for is a round centre stone with claw prongs and three melee diamonds on both sides like this picture, except in white gold:

I would talk to them directly. I don't know how covid affected them. Are they busier? Less busy? What their queue is like? How many people they have working on site at a time?

They may be able to take a stock setting such as from stiller and add/shape claw prongs so mention that option as well

James Allen has this exact setting. I don't know what their canadian dealings are like, though.

My son had his fiance's ring custom made by WF. It was a relatively easy process and the ring is beautiful. I believe it took about 5 weeks after the CADs were approved.

Someone just had one made and it looks very nice. Its a halo though so quite different. I think if they could do the halo they could certainly do that
setting (pretty by the way). Not sure how that department is being affected by Covid though.

Whiteflash gives excellent service. I haven’t had a custom ring done but the level of service I received when buying a <$1000 band was stellar. I wouldn’t hesitate to use them!
