My husband and I married young, though thanks to Pricescope, my original engagement ring is a lovely ideal cut 0.9 ct diamond with pear side stones. I still think it’s perfect and didn’t want to upgrade it, but we wanted to celebrate our 15th anniversary with a real heirloom piece. I have long admired Victor Canera’s work, and I really wanted something hand-forged. I reached out to Victor, and he was so courteous and helpful. He sourced 10+ stone options within my budget and helped me select the right one. I loved his Alexia three stone halo design, but I decided to go with shield-cut side stones instead of half moons. Victor shipped the ring yesterday and I had it in hand today, and I couldn’t be more pleased. The craftsmanship is exquisite, the sapphire the perfect shade of blue, and I am so excited to be able to wear it. I ordered a matching band as well just to be able to change up the look. I can’t say enough good things about Victor and his team, what a seamless and professional process from start to finish, truly a class act.

I wanted to share a few more photos from a sunny day. I also wanted to acclaim the quality of customer service I have received from VC. After I received my ring, I didn’t wear it out of the house for several weeks, as it felt so special and I wanted the first time I wore it to be for a special occasion. My husband and I took a trip to Paris, where I wore the ring for the first time to the opera. I enjoyed wearing it a few times during that trip, but I am very careful with my jewelry so I don’t wear it everywhere. Toward the end of the trip, I was putting the ring in the safe when I noticed a small gray spot toward the edge of the stone. I attempted to clean it with a soft cloth, but it didn’t go away. After examining it closely under bright light, it appeared to be a small chip at the edge of a facet. I felt devastated, as I had never noticed the spot before (and in prior photos and videos it clearly wasn’t there), and I try very hard to protect my rings when wearing them. I emailed Victor, and he was so responsive. I mailed the ring back to him, and he confirmed a small abrasion. Repair required unsetting the stone, polishing, and resetting the stone, which he did for a negligible cost. I had my ring back and repaired within 2 weeks of returning from our trip. I was so grateful for his quick response and willingness to repair the abrasion, which, while very small, would’ve been the only thing I noticed. I really can’t say enough about his level of professionalism and service, I will be a customer for life.

Wow, talk about excellent customer service! I'm so glad Victor was able to get your stone back to pristine condition and was so responsive. The ring is absolutely beautiful, perfect in every way!

I'm so glad you were able to repair the abrasion so easily, and its great that VC helped facilitate the process. I had a star sapphire damaged during setting in the last and it couldn't be salvages and it was a very stressful experience!
