VC SK LM Alternatives

After some tough decision making, I’m looking for a reputable jeweler for a hand forged platinum E-Ring, something high quality but more affordable than VC, LM or SK if there is such a thing? I’ve heard good things about Maytal Hannah but I don’t know how the quality of her work compares to the others. I’m looking for a pavé solitaire if that narrows it down. Also, someone who works in 90/10 platinum would be ideal.

You want high quality. I understand that but high quality also costs a lot. I find Victor Canera to be fairly priced for the craftsmanship. Maytall is cheaper and also great. I do like Victor Caneras work a bit more (I can’t pinpoint why) . I haven’t read about anybody else who does handforged at a cheaper price than Maytal.
Maybe you should just go with David Klaas if you’re on a budget as he also makes beautiful affordable work.

David Klass if you are on a budget because his work is excellent IMO. All the artists you mentioned above do amazing work. I would recommend looking at threads highlighting each of the artists you are considering to see who matches your aesthetic best within your budget as I believe any of the above (with the exception of LM) might be able to do a version for you within your budget. Maybe.

FWIW, if OP is still looking I highly recommend Maytal Hannah. I just received my ring from her today and couldn't be more pleased. Safe to say, COVID-19 shut down most if not all jewelers for the past month. She moved mountains to finish my project. At the end of the day, I chose MH for her personality as much as the quality of her work. In the bespoke world, these artists tend have strong opinions as to how the project should look. Maytal listened to every request and found a way make each request fit the design and turn something seemingly "basic" into my vision.

Maytal Hannah is A-M-A-Z-I-N-G and I would argue just as good as the others mentioned. Besides the quality of her work she is amazing to work with and just a wonderful all around person and master of her craft. She won’t disappoint! See my post on show me the bling around my ER reset.

I second everything just said. Maytal is incredible and listens to what you want and provides advice without pushing her vision on you ever. She is stellar as an artist and human being!
