I looked up the old setting. You're right. I prefer it with the plain shank. It really pops. Well done! It's a whole new ring!

The original setting was just too low for me and I realized I actually like a little gap between my ER and wedding band. Then I kept seeing the classic Tiffany set (solitaire and eternity band) and admiring it. I think plain shank allows the wedding band to stand out a little more.
 
Gorgeous, and the proportions are perfect on your hand. Can we see a side view?

I agree. It definitely pops more now. The old setting as beautiful also.

It was pretty before, but it actually looks larger in the new setting. That might be because it is set slightly higher. I love it, needless to say!

For our anniversary in March, I'm looking at a 9-stone band with 8-pointer diamonds. I go back and forth between Whiteflash (my wedding band in the photos is from there) and IDJ. Any thoughts?
