Hi all, I have been on the hunt for a 3ct round brilliant and have been offered this stone by a jeweler:
3.27 Round Brilliant
F Color, VS1 Clarity, GIA Triple Excellent
No Fluorescence, no Culet
PROPORTIONS
Depth 61.9 %
Table 56 %
Crown Angle 34.5°
Crown Height 15.0%
Pavilion Angle 41.2°
Pavilion Depth 43.5%
Star Length 50%
Lower Half 85%
Girdle Medium to Slightly Thick, Faceted, 3.0%
I was told this is a Hearts and Arrow Ideal Cut. But when I run the proportions by the Holloway Cut Adviser, the score says 3.2 which worries me a bit as I want the stone to be really sparkly.
Any expert here can advise me on the cut of this stone? I need to make a decision in the next 24 hours so any advice will be very much appreciated
