Update!

I went to wf this morning really thinking that I might be disappointed. My current stone is very white for a J, bright in most settings and truly beautiful. And I totally went with the attitude that I would not accept a less beautiful stone no matter the setting situation.

Good Lord help me - I almost gasped out loud when I saw it. The new stone is whiter and brighter!!!! Michelle and Becca and I all agreed that it was a prettier stone. Now, it may not be an apple to apple comparison since my stone was set but oh my - I think this is definitely fate!!!

New stone - 3.443 J SI1 (totally eyeclean), table 55.4, crown 34.8 ACA

Margot arrives tomorrow and wf will set!!!

Margot arrived today! My first impression was that it is definitely more refined and delicate than I am!!!
Seriously, it is gorgeous and everything I expected. Dainty, tiny claw prongs, soft elegant shoulders. The details are perfect. I LOVE the large donut. The stone will sit lower than in Dahlia so I am very excited about that. Did I tell y'all that it was even in my size?!? This could not have been more perfect. I can't believe I forgot to take a picture. I had to run out the door right after it came to get it to wf before kid pickup began.

It will probably be ready early next week.

My luck in this has been so incredible that I keep expecting something to go wrong! I sure hope I don't get hit by a bus or anything!!!

I know!!! But I get that I have to get in line, lol. They are setting my dahlia with a cz too, a travel ring but I rarely go anywhere that I need one. And sizing my 5 stone. So I have to be patient. And after the way this fell together, a little patience on my part is in order!
