I like it much more too, I actually got super excited when I first saw the, The band itself seems really bulky/thick, is this the CADs as I was told that the band would be 2.2mm. I know that CADs look bulkier, should I not be worried...

Well, you saw the cast of the other one they did. Did the shank look bulky. I didn't think so. And I would guess it's very similar to this in size.

2.2 is thin. I wouldn't worry.

I think it is better too! I am sure the shank size will be fine. It may look bulkier to you from the CADS because it is more of a square shape shank - would you prefer the shank to be more rounded? The square shape probably works better though with the shape of the baguettes - more fluid look.

I like the rounded basket under the center stone. Did you request the shank to be more square? The first CAD has a more rounded shank. 2.2mm is thin though, my ring from ERD was 2.2mm and it looked similar to your CADS and the end result looked much more delicate.

Re: shank though, are you opposed to knife edge? I had a zircon 3 stone with trapezoids (so different shapes from yours but similar proportions) and the knife edge shank on that one turned out nicely.
