Hello PS'ers! I received CAD revisions that I just couldn't wait to share and solicit your input on. Based on recs from a previous post ([URL='https://www.pricescope.com/community/threads/plat-setting-w-baguettes-how-thin-is-too-thin-pics.195625/']https://www.pricescope.com/community/threads/plat-setting-w-baguettes-how-thin-is-too-thin-pics.195625/[/URL]), I'm going with the 2mm shank. Now, I only have two remaining questions:
1) What do you think about narrowing the microwave wraps that hold the baguettes?
2) Do you think setting the melee three different ways on one ring will look weird? Along the prongs of the head there is bead set pave, and then the designer stated that the undercarriage melee would be bead set with rails. From the looks of the CAD, the melee on the wraps looks like it is flush set, but I'm not sure.
