I’m hardly knowledgeable about radiant cuts but this one is new to me — almost like a scissor cut maybe?

I think that’s a Tycoon cut.

I own a tycoon cut and they have a different facet pattern. I actually think this one looks more like a spring cut - there aren't many of these around because they are no longer being manufactured.

Wow, somebody shelled out almost 370k for that D, IF marquise! That's going to be quite the piece of jewelry. I wish we could see what gets done with it.

Wow - it is indeed round... with an octagonal step cut facet pattern! Very interesting!

I would love to see a video that!

Window shopping for weird stones and found this lovely option:

And this faceting is pure chaos, which I think is interesting.

Ok, this is just a mystery to me. I've never seen this style of cut before. It's a strange cushion with a high crown/tiny table.

It looks like a French cut on top!
Is it funny that I actually kinda love the chaos one?

Oh my! I hope someone will buy one of them and show us how is it like in real life. These stones have very interesting cuts!

For some reason I really like these weird flower cuts. They are so pretty!

It amazes me why they would cut a 4 carat VS2 diamond so poorly! I'm going to assume it was to save carat weight???

That 4.07 K VS2 would be blazing bright from about five feet further away. Sadly for that stone - most women like to admire their own rings and don’t have five foot arms

You would put in a pendant, not a ring, and it would work pretty well.

I was looking down to see how much it would be possible to admire a pendant and realized mine was on backwards today. Thanks for the wardrobe save.

Huge lighting obstruction or obscuration!
Unless you were glowing ;-)
