In defense of this thread I think most of the posts are more about the cute and clever "names" people are coming up with for these unusual items. I have some winners in my closet I am sure would get a laugh--and some I still wear!

The pieces with frozen spit in them are just poor quality.

I see the 2-button light switch, convenience certainly worth celebrating after hazards of candles, gas lights, carbide lamps, and kerosene lanterns. Lots of homes and buildings got electricity in the '20s. I can't call that ring ugly. I think it shows the exhuberance of a technologically progressive era.
