I hope this thread always stays alive, and I would love to see the 1/2 carat thread that is not as popular become so! Viva la small sparklies!

This is my 1980s vintage Jabel wrap set. .25 center with twelve .015 full-cut melee for a .43 TCW. I purchased it about a year ago.

I found the set in the 1987 Jabel catalog on their website which I loved seeing! I like knowing history about my finger companions. 20221008_122331.jpg

I have a little pear halo to share. Sooo difficult to capture her beauty with my cell, so I've just never posted. One of my favorites because it's dainty and comfy, plus I can wear a few different bands with it. 20221107_180346.jpg

Thank you! It's an .80 ct. H, Si2 center. With the halo, it is 1.14ctw. It looks ok even if it's an Si2 to me. I thought it was in the colorless range until I looked at my paperwork.

This ring has a .5 center with an emerald cut. I bought it from LT and bought it on a whim as it was a very good price. To my surprise, it has become the ring I wear every day. I do clean it every day because it has such a beautiful shine when clean. I have other, bigger rings, but Im in love with this cut.

Pinky ring is a .30 diamond.

Ruby has .20 ish side diamonds

Pear ring is a .89 diamond.

I don't own a single diamond that is more than a carat.

Beautiful. Nice to meet another person who likes modest diamonds. The average in my collection is 0.5 ct.

I just can't justify the prices close to/ above a Carat. Also my ring finger is size 4.5 and my pointer finger is 6 so things look big enough.

Same here. Every stone I own falls under .66 carat, my largest one. To quote another thread, sometimes I do think about selling them and getting one ring to rule them all.

My new 0.86ct F SI1 OEC from Ivy and Rose, Gypsy set by I&R in Platinum. :kiss2:

It is my third RHR, and it sits between my day to day casual ring which is a 0.47ct EC (I can't remember the exact specification), and my 1.19ct E VS1 EC in an air gap/line halo; both in Platinum that comes out on dressy occasions.

Loved perusing this thread- so many beautiful rings :kiss2:

I purchased this preloved ring (0.39 ct center OEC) and am fascinated by the way it sparkles!

Here’s my .96 G VS1 Tiffany ring! I’m in love. It’s technically a “downgrade,” because my I’ve owned bigger stones, but around the 1 carat mark looks and feel best to me. Plus, the Tiffany setting is just my absolute favorite. I’m so picky about prongs, and Tiffany does great work. I’m a size 6.5, for reference E498627E-1BE1-4D4E-B36D-90F84F9E8C4B.jpeg

I love all the rings here—so gorgeous!

There are snooty online reviews about how Tiffany just isn't that great. The posters on this forum put this in doubt - they buy them new, they buy them used and they buy more. And all are delighted with the quality. I would really enjoy having one someday.
Thank you for your lovely addition to my favorite thread!

I was craving a light yellow oec and fell for this .55ct. I love the color and facet pattern. Yet to be set, but will be 2 tone with 18kyg around the stone. An alternative engagement/rhr.

I cannot wait to see how this turns out! Your pieces are absolutely swoon-worthy, as is this stone!

@michellelynn9175 thank you! Currently thinking something like @YadaYadaYada did a while back. An engraved airlined halo. I have a 2 tone wedding band and an engraved 2 tone wedding band on the way- so I'll have some options.
Or I was also considering doing a bezel five stone with this as the center bezeled in yg but the rest white stones bezeled in platinum. YG shank.
Still deciding :)
