Hi everyone, so i believe I've finally narrowed it down to these two stones. I would very much appreciate your input. Both similar and about 500 dollars difference. I have seen both in person but not at same place so hard to compare. Option 2 has a slightly more significant feather but is also cheaper. Onc of main concerns with option 2 is the GIA cert date is may 2006 and im not sure why. The other thing about option 2 is the HCA score of 1.8 (Ex. Vg, Vg, Vg) versus option 1 HCA is 1.1 (Ex,Ex,Ex, VG). Thank you all so much.

Note - Both Certs pics in below post but image quality is not great.

Option 1:
Cert - GIA (Feb 2012) (better then 2006 date on option 2)
Measurements - (6.85-6.89x4.25)
Carat - 1.21CT
Cut - EX
Polish - EX (VG on option 2)
Sym - VG )Ex on option 2) What is better trade of Vg symm or Vg polish?
HCA - 1.1 (X, X, X, VG)
Color - G (Option 2 is 2 grades better with E)
Clarity - Si2 (Same)
Clarity Issues - Feather (option 1 slightly less noticeable feather - both hard to see without loop)
Fluor - None
Table - 54% (low?)
Depth - 61.8%
Crown - 33.5
Pav - 41
Cost $7900 ($500 more than option 2)

Option 2:
Cert - GIA (May 2006***) Option 2 cert date 2006 worries me
Measurements - (6.80 - 6.83 x 4.22) - Basically equal
Carat - 1.20 CT
Cut - EX
Polish - VG - Both EX cut, option 2 is VG polish and option 1 is VG symm?
Sym - EX
HCA - 1.8 (X, Vg, Vg, Vg) HCA seems much better on option1 with all Excellent accept spread
Color - E (2 grades better)
Clarity - Si2 (same)
Clarity Issues - Feather - Both have si2 type feathers, which are hard to find with naked eye
Fluor - Faint
Table - 56%
Depth - 61.9%
Crown - 34.5
Pav - 41
Cost - $7400 ($500 cheaper)

Okay, bumping this for you. I would only consider the first stone as it has better HCA results (Ex, Ex, Ex, VG) and the less significant feather. But I personally would not be comfortable with a feather (crack) as being the primary inclusion in an SI2. I'd probably only consider twining wisps for an SI2.

Is a feather really bad? It is very noticeable with the loop but not much by naked eye? My GF said she is okay with some inclusion but I dont want it to be bad or effect the stones brilliance and shine? I wanted an Si1 but cannot find one in my price range for a 1.2 CT.
