Trying to analyze Oval ASET and Ideal Scope

Help.... I've used some online references but am still having a hard time determining if this is just okay or better than okay. (It was so easy when I was buying my RB!)

My initial reaction is that it's very average - the white/black areas in the coloured ASETscope images are leakage.

Have you looked at Rhino's line of August Vintage Inc. Opulence Ovals? They are cut to perform as well as a good MRB, with no 'bow-tie' and minimal leakage.

For a run of the mill oval, it’s okay. Not the best (you’d see more red in the ASET than in this one) but at least there is a fair bit of red and green overall.

I second the recommendation to checkout @Rhino’s line of August Vintage Opulence ovals.

Ok, now I’ve seen it all. That’s ASET is nuts. The video looks very flat. There’s like no dimensions to the faceting on that stone whatsoever.
