Trump Threatens Protesters At Tulsa Rally He Plans

Private campaign events are not funded by the Federal govt; this is no different than every POTUS before him. That ACLU link I posted above cites that Hillary, Obama and others have exercised similar rights.

He isn't denying people the right to protest; his campaign is exercising their right to permit or deny access to their privately-funded campaign event; what’s the problem?

Who would want to pay for an event geared toward a particular audience, then have members of that audience denied entry because agitators wanted to snatch up the tickets with the sole purpose of crashing it; they can stand out by the fence and shout all they want.

police dragging her away and booking her for tresspassing isnt the same as refusing her entry at the door. i think that is the difference.

The “door” in this case appears to be the gate to enter the fenced off area outside the arena on venue property. This event is both an indoor and outdoor event from what I understand. She could have stood outside the gate or fenced off area and screamed her head off and no one probably would have cared.

They also asked her - very politely and non-confrontationally - to leave on her own, and the officer said he didn't want to drag her out; she chose that outcome when she did not comply with their request. That is what the video I saw shows. If you have other evidence, please link it.

Try wearing an NRA or MAGA shirt to a Biden rally and see what happens.

You are implying that support for Trump means condoning homicide because all the shirt said was "I Can't Breathe", a reference condemning the killing of George Floyd.

You don't mean that.

@AGBF I implied no such thing. You made that up all on your own.

Yea, that was quite a stretch. But I agree with you on the lack of mutual tolerance; it’s gotten insane IMO. An Oklahoma State coach wore an OAN News t-shirt on a fishing trip, from which a picture was posted on Twitter. One of his players made a stink about it, refusing to do anything with the school “until things change.” This resulted in the coach issuing an apology for his “insensitive behavior“.

The backstory is, OAN has an opinion about the BLM movement the kid did not agree with; that’s understandable, but it is still America, and people/businesses have a right to their opinions, even if one doesn't like them. In this case, though, it wasn’t even his coach’s opinion.

Alas, it appears one must now run their wardrobe choices through a “Six Degrees of Sensitivity“ test before they can get dressed.

I was pointing out the logical conclusion of what you posted, not making a statement of my own.

If wearing an NRA or MAGA shirt meant you would be unwelcome at a Biden rally, then you were implying wearing an "I Can't Breathe" T-shirt meant you were unwelcome at a Trump rally. Because Trump 's beliefs are to that T-shirt as Biden's are to he NRA and MAGA T-shirt's slogans.

"I Can't Breathe" is a protest against the homicide of George Floyd.

I didn't make that up. That is fact. I followed your logic to its conclusion. And I also said, I know you didn't mean to say that. You just made a mistake in logic.

@AGBF You are going to get a Charlie horse with that stretch; there is nothing logical about where you took that.

The only conclusion to reasonably draw from her comment is that if someone wore a MAGA hat or NRA shirt to a Biden rally, they’d be attacked. Because that is the reality.

But it’s a non-issue anyway because Biden doesn’t have rallies; he holds Zoom meetings via dial-up.

LOL well, no “overflow crowd address” because there aren’t enough people there to warrant one.

You need to do more research on OAN!

Trump gave a warning before that he would not put up with "protesters". Protesters have a right to protest. He has to put up with them. He also has to allow them to assemble peacefully. Even in the park across from The White House. Even if it makes a photo op for him inconvenient.

I agree. He doesn’t. He doesn’t care about the law. He thinks he’s above it.

He just called covid-19 “kung flu” at his rally. Boy do they love that! I mean of course, it’s racist and 122,000 people have died. So funny!

He didn't fill the arena. At least some of his fans value their health over attending the circus sideshow. Since he's so focused on crowd size, he should be happy about the size of the protests since those are the only large crowds he's been able to draw.

Small turnout.
Oh darn.

In addition to concern of catching C19, perhaps (fingers crossed) support for him is waning, even in the bible belt.

I'm not sure if it makes sense to try and understand the unreasonable.
But what's he intending?
I'd think if people get mass infected at a rally they won't vote for him anymore... Am I missing something?

Even getting infected en masse won't stop them from voting for him. They have been trained well to blame liberals for everything wrong in their lives or in anyone's lives, rather than those who are actually responsible; voting for him and supporting him vocally is their way of focusing all of that rage against those who they see as the ultimate evil enemy.

A recent trend on TikTok was buying up tickets to his little hate party but not attending. Hahahahaha. I love it.CB8E52AB-7255-4661-BE29-42BDA17DF2A8_1_201_a.jpeg

I love this!!

I think it’s hilarious, but weren’t there something like a million tickets to this thing? If he had the support, that place AND outside would have easily been filled.

Yeah, it seems there were a million tix available, but a lot of people reserved like 5 tix apiece. LOL

can you link to that video? the one i saw she was walking around, it looked like she was outside on the street/sidewalk. i can't find it to link here. maybe it was before what you are talking about. did she already have to show her ticket to get to that street/sidewalk area? i'd read the outdoor portion was cancelled due to low turnout.

Yes. I watched it unfold in real time. She was told after showing her ticket to go over to the side because she couldn't enter the main room. So she sat down. Then she was threatened with arrest (for trespassing). She kept telling everyone who approached her that she had a ticket and wasn't trespassing. I heard all the conversations.

They should have let her in. They could have used another body in that empty auditorium.

Vote orange in Nov. please...

If you want to erode America's standing in the world, and help China's standing in the world, yes, by all means, vote orange.

I liked his vague ramblings last night. I didn’t take away a single thing he is actually planning to do, but apparently the US is going to have “a lot of problems”, “bad things” will happen and we will be in “a lot of trouble” if we don’t vote for him.

Is this some sort of curse that he lay down the way the wicked witch did when one of those fairy tale princesses was born? Do we have any good fairies on our side to help protect us from the curse?
