Im liking the .3 - .4 sizes a lot ...

and i dont think its too bad for price? opinions?

So i feel like i am back at square 1
bc and i say this bc.....
i went to try on the ring and the thick band does not suit my finger...
i kinda found it too thick....and so i have to re shop
but its okay

i think a lower setting but higher than the etoile is best...
the novo setting or lucida ....where its raised but no so much

thanks for all your help:)

if u have more ideas let me know

Oh well, there''s lots of very pretty rings out there! Have fun trying them on and choosing one that suits you.

Its weird / funny how u think something looks great then u go check it out again and its okay not WOW
im just glad i went back

Tiffany rings are beautiful, just over priced of course. My ex-fiancee loved their Lucida rings, but a diamond in the size she was wanting came out to around $13k. Not feasible. A little research and I was able to find a nicer diamond is an almost identical setting for about $9.5k LESS. Within a couple of weeks, we visited Tiffanys again to get her silver jewelry cleaned and went to go glance at their Lucida rings again...the employee that came over to help us commented on her ring and said "thats a beautiful lucida, did you buy that from our store?" Not bad that a little leg work/research can fool the person that was working the Lucida counter. Unless you are dead set on having the Tiffanys name, finding a nice diamond and doing a lot of research on the setting can save a ton of money and fool even the Tiffanys employees.

Yep, I always thought the bands were on the thicker side in terms of mm.

I had the exact same experience - well I bought my vatche x prong setting because I liked it, not to look like a lucida, and I have a round stone in it which is different from the lucida diamond anyway. The sales gal at tiffany (when I was trying on diamond bands) said OH, you have the LUCIDA! I was like uh, no. See the round stone in it?! LOL!

Yeah I am going to go check out some stores and see what i like
i know i like the round stone, and i know i like a thin band...

things are all starting to look the same ....buti have come to realize that most engagement rings are simple ....and hense look the same....6 prong, 4 prong, x prong if you know what i mean (not in a bad way )
lets see whats out there and now that i am not set on the bezel from tiffs i know i can spend the same i was going to before and get something nicer ....

ill keep you posted and if u want to send pictures with styles please do so:)))) ideas are great
