Thoughts on two Stuller yellow gold settings for oval

Hi PS family!
I'm considering keeping my 1.5 ct. oval and resetting in yellow gold. I've considered some vintage halo settings, but now I'm looking at two simple Stuller settings with small round sides . One in all yellow gold where the stone is set E-W and the other in two-tone yellow with a white gold basket. Which one do you like? I'd probably pair with a simple eternity band. Thanks!

Team two-tone here. Personally, I find the yellow gold casts a bit of a yellow tinge on a diamond (I find RG has a similar effect), so unless you are trying to play that up, my preference = ‘white’ stones in white metal.

Thanks for your thoughts! The diamond is a G color with medium blue fluoro so that's something to think about!

I like the first one. The side way setting makes it interesting.

I like the 2 tone, unless you want the diamond to have a slight yellow hue....I reset my 5 stone from a all 18K yellow gold setting to yellow gold band and white prongs..I was stunned at the difference!
