Hi All! Newbee here!
I was hoping to get your expert opinions on this 1.12 carat oval diamond, H/SI2 priced at $3200. Seller says it’s 100% eye clean, no bow tie. Dimensions are 7.62 x 5.7 x 3.38. I’m not sure if that cavity is a deal breaker.
We are looking to get the biggest bang for our buck and are hoping to stay under $4000 for the stone. Thoughts on this diamond or any other recommendations are much appreciated!

Please see video below from seller!

Is this for an engagement ring? What is your budget?

$3200 isnt bad but its not great either (checked with on-line ovals). The thick girdle is making it face up slightly smaller than other ovals of the same
carat weight.

What is his return policy if you dont like it?

I like it. I think that Alex has a good eye for stone-picking.

While I agree it’s facing up smaller then the weight indicates it’s a gorgeous stone with no bow tie.

There's also this nice Elyque oval. It's a J color and will be 3% off with wire transfer ($4350.45). This would be a gorgeous stone with no bow tie.

Thank you all for your feedback!
It is for an engagement ring. We’re trying to stay under 4K if possible for the stone. :D

While I think it’s a really pretty stone, I just think it’s best to stay away from diamonds with cavities. I can definitely see why you are drawn to it, but I think you should keep looking. You don’t want to have any problems. I know your diamond is out there!

I do not care for the oval stone you posted - neither the cut nor the inclusions. Cavities are a deal breaker for me. The Elyque stone posted is stunning.

Thank you again for all your replies. This is incredibly helpful!

I don't love the one OP posted, but adore the AV ideal oval.

IMHO, I like to see less crushed ice and more symmetry with broader facets- except for the bowtie.
