Thoughts on this diamond?

Specifically, any chance I'll be able to see that crystal under the table at VS1? The online merchant says it's eye clean, but I'm still waiting for the stone to arrive after more than a month...and getting a bit nervous!

We haven't seen a video or picture of the stone but being a VS1 it's a pretty safe bet it will be eye clean.

What concerns me more is why it has taken over a month to get the stone. Who is the vendor, and when does the return policy start and expire?

Did you get any other images like an ASET or idealscope prior to buying? Care to share if so?

No, no other images, unfortunately. The vendor is Enchanted Diamonds. There's a 30-day return policy that starts when I receive the stone. Apparently it's being shipped from India to Hong Kong to NYC.

They did acknowledge that that's quite a circuitous route, but one that many suppliers use -- no doubt for some duty or tax savings.
