Thoughts on this 1.8 ct, Si-1

Hi team!

I am looking at this stone below and I’d love some input on it. I’ve not dealt much with Si-1 stones and I’m not sure if this will be eye clean when I see it. Any views would be helpful!

The cut and color are good but a title concerned that the stone won’t be eye clean.

Ask for a gemologist to view it at 10 inches and see. I would say it’s likely eyeclean, but it always depends on the eyes.

It's likely eye clean but I'd have someone check, like @whitewave said

Looks like a VC stone. If so, ask them to verify its eye clean. They are a trusted vendor and should shoot you straight.

FYI, no industry standards exist for "eye clean" so be sure to clarify your expectations so everyone is on the same page.

Some of the other vendors utilize a definition like this: no visible inclusions looking at the top from 10" away with 20/20 vision and good lighting.

Depending on your own visual acuity, this definition may work or may need modified.
