Thoughts on cushion color, price, ASET?

I have a J-color/VS1/VG/VG cushion on hold through JA that is cut in the relatively unique hearts-arrows pattern. My main reservations are with the ASET-image I was provided when asked (too good? And inconsistent) and the J-color. I am setting in rose gold so my initial thoughts were sacrificing color a bit for cut could work out well. My budget was $3k---thoughts on this diamond given the above and my price limitations? Will I regret dropping to a J-color in the rose gold? ASET is below.

Any thoughts on if this is 'the one' for me? It sure is difficult to judge cut quality in these cushions!

1.The price is attractive.
2. Some people like J, some do not. You will have to see it person. (I love my J)
3. I am a bit concerned of the black arrows and extra blues around the arrowheads. This may indicate shallow pavilion and may have obstruction issues. When you receive the stone, inspect it from different viewing distances and pay close attention to the blue and black arrows and see how they light up. It is possible that some of the arrows are persistently greyish and do not light up. Ideally, the arrows should go away and fully light up from arms length (2~3 feet).

Overall, I like it and worth taking a risk. JA offers free return. A similar style stone can cost 40 percent more from other vendors.

Thanks, the aset (black and blue arrows) were also my concern but with the free returns, I do feel like it's worth a risk for me (and hopefully I do land a well-cut stone in this pattern at an aggressive price). Plus in the video provided it seemed the contrast within the stone was consistent... Appreciate the thoughts

Any other thoughts on this cut prior to completing this order?! Sure, it's partially a value play given that a similar diamond from BGD costs ~$4400, but I obviously i do hope to love the diamond!

P.S.--so I can brag a bit more. The stone is awesome :)

As expected, the arrows are very pronounced and it is a contrasty diamond.
It kinda has the antique feel to it because the facets are so chunky.
I am glad it turned out amazing. Love the setting as well.

That's beautiful! I just love rose gold.
